This NVQ is designed for those working as ceiling fixers within the construction industry. If you have at least 3 years of experience installing suspended ceilings or working in interior fit-outs, this qualification gives you a fast-track route to formally certify your skills. It is ideal for those already on site and seeking their Blue CSCS Skilled Worker Card without needing classroom-based training.
Assessment:

What It Covers:
- Installing metal frame and lay-in grid ceiling systems
- Reading and interpreting drawings and specifications
- Preparing work areas and materials
- Measuring, cutting, and fixing ceiling systems
- Maintaining health and safety on site
- Working efficiently in a team and independently
Eligibility:
- Minimum 3 years on-site experience in ceiling fixing or related interior systems
- Age 18+ • Currently employed in a construction or fit-out role
